Night Fest Poem by Paul Sebastian

Night Fest

Weary sun, bids farewell
Waving its hue of ribbons
Balmy breeze blows a spell
Evening's serenade begins

Feathered friends in their nests
Crickets have begun an orchestra
Night's curtain, raised for night's fest
Owl waits for the night to stride far

Tides rush in to embrace the shore
Lady Moon strolls, gracing the sky
Venus ushers in a starry night's show
Lovers in garden, passion drawing nigh

Poet chances to paint the night's fall
He sinks in the arms of the night
Inspiration permeates the painter's soul
His ink flows smoothly as he writes
