Remembering what never was

Views we never saw

Sounds we never heard

They tell us how it was

Shown us how it was

We believe we were there

But we never was

Never did we see

Never did we hear

They tell us we were there

And we believe we were

In our mind is a world

Of sight and sounds

Of many things we did

The clothes we wore

A world we recall

But it never was

Never heard that band

Never saw those sights

Never wore those clothes

A world we lived in

But it never was
