My Wish Poem by Gautam Sen

Who am I and why I am here-
If I say for your laugh n cheer;
I will not feign, not even any lie
Just to say 'Hi' with thoughts that fly.

I try my best to win more friends,
Prose & verse be my life's new trend!
To keep an eye to bliss and joy
I write to feel free, not as ploy.

When friends show back, try to stay away-
I hate to hate them, wait for a clean sway.
The sun with its glaze hides moon's shine
Yet moon shares its glaze as night's lone shrine.

In your midst, my mind finds art of peace
I feel sad if you stop and you cease,
I too, do dream to have a huge heap
Of love from your heart sound & deep.

Thoughts of great themes are like some gold mines;
I appraise its worth that flashes through lines.
I write these treasures, then take a gape to yawn
I love all my readers; they bring me a nice dawn.
