My Twelve Days Of Christmas Poem by Ima Ryma

My Twelve Days Of Christmas

Christmas - 'my true love' gave to me:
Twenty three assorted birds that
Are on my lawn in a pear tree
Giving passersby loads of splat.
Eight maids milking eight cows did get
Me ticketed for no license
Because I do aid and abet
Illegal milk that they dispense.
A bunch of ladies dance, lords leap,
Drummers drumming, pipers piping,
Neighbors yell at me, 'What the (bleep) ? '
To authorities they're griping.

Five golden rings I had to pawn
To pay damages going on.
