My Purpose

Did God have a purpose for putting me on earth
Is there for me a destany, a reason for my birth
Although in life the weeds are high and the roads very long
I can not stop to rest until I find where I belong
Did God have a purpose when he created me
Did he intend a place in life here I am meant to be
Did God have a purpose for putting me on earth
I need to know where I belong
What good could I be worth
I've been walking this earth for what seems a long time
Tho I haven't yet found this purpose of mine
I look in the mirror, not sure who I see
I feel like a nobody just trying to be
Did God have a purpose for letting me live
where do I belong, what have I to give
As I walk on this earth while waiting to die
I search to discover what purpose have I
As I live my life I'll continue to dream
Some day I will learn Gods purpose for my being
