My Goddess Poem by Barima Basoah

My Goddess

Treasure tucked away in my chest,
hidden in the deep cave of my heart,
that I cherish you most.

Human of a glorious figure,
like a constellation in the sky,
I am susceptible to your charm.

Eyes behold a true picture of elegance,
too beautiful to stand nor grab,
the impossible depth of your beauty.

Outstanding with incredible power,
with a look of mystical superiority,
you generate a special brand of magic.

Dearest diamond, my most precious gem,
your simplicity, brilliance and strength are exceptional,
I am thrilled with your special fascination.

Offeror of pleasures and rest,
provider of milk, wine and manna,
in your bosom I forever dwell.

Ruler over hearts and minds,
focus of worship and reverence,
that I only bow at your presence.

Adorable and virtuous vessel,
useful and helpful at all times,
you are my goddess.
