Move On Poem by Randy McClave

Move On

If someone has offended you
Know this to say and then do,
Whether it is a her or a him
Just forgive them.
If you have offended anyone
With that memory do not carry on,
Be the person who is caring and wise
Sit, reflect, pray, and then apologize.
Don't carry negative feelings around
Unto that antagonist thoughts be not bound,
It only serves to make you sad and destroy
Then you needlessly become a decoy.
No matter who was right
Do not continue to argue and fight,
Remember this, life is very short
And in the end God gets the report.
Holding a grudge is like eating poison
While expecting the other person to die from what was done,
Don't take this poison no matter the pain or strife
Forgive, forget and then move on with your life.
