Mother Tara (A Darshan Of Kali) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Mother Tara (A Darshan Of Kali)

The silvery face of
Mother Tara
But with the red mouth
Laden with
Red hibiscus flowers,
How beautiful
Is it to see
Tara, Mother Tara
Looking red,
Happy and blissful
With the crown over the head
And vermillion in the parting line of hair
And long hair too waist-long!

The round nose-pin,
The red tongue held out of
The mouth,
The dark black eyes,
How lovely the image,
The painting of Kali,
Ma Tara,
Kali as Tara,
Tantrical One,
Mythical and mystical incarnate!
