Morning Sunlight Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Morning Sunlight

Rating: 4.0

M-orning sunlight shows up,
E-liminating the gray;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
L-etting the night fade away.
Y-our birthday has come, causing mirth to your heart;
N-ew dawn has broken, the dusk and twilight depart.

A-pril twelfth early Wednesday
B-rings a thousand thrill;
R-ay from up above
I-s erasing the chill.
G-reat day denies the rain, warm weather is in sight;
O-pen both your eyes, behold the morning sunlight.
