In twilight's hush, as day begins to rise,
I seek communion, where my spirit lies,
A morning prayer, a heartfelt plea I raise,
To greet the dawn with songs of grateful praise.
With whispered words, I bare my soul's desire,
For strength and guidance, as the day transpires,
In this serene and sacred hour I find,
A refuge from the world, a peace of mind.
As golden rays caress the waking earth,
I offer thanks for this new day's rebirth,
For life's sweet gifts, both great and small, I pray,
And ask for wisdom to discern my way.
Oh, let me tread with purpose and with grace,
In every step, Your presence I will trace,
May love and kindness be my guiding light,
As I embrace the day, both day and night.
So, I humbly share,
My morning prayer, a heartfelt, earnest prayer,
With faith and hope, I place my trust in You,
Oh, Lord above, my spirit finds its due.
