Michelle Poem by Adams King

Through the other path of love
I staggered like a drunk
Every sluggish step I took
Was accompanied by drops of blood

Every new day was no relief
Neither were my nights a comfort
I took a walk with heavy steps
Nursing this heavy heart of mine

Hopefully I seek for healings
Feeling that could outgrew my pains
I seek for a miraculous magic
An arm to embrace my arms

Iron sharpens iron blunt and rusted
Feelings overwhelmed feelings also
I saw your light from afar
I knew my dark tunnel ends there

I called out struggled to get to you
For you were that miracle I so desire
You dispel my darkest night
And gave solace to a sad sojourner

Sweet is the home we built together
Where healing ocean flows with peace
If the world will write my perfect story
I'm a man who went from hell to heaven

From a promiscuous prison to paradise
I was once lost now I'm found in you
True living starts when true love is found
My life begins the day I met with you
