Memories

Memories

Memories can be
Sweet or bitter as berries
Swallowed into our mind
Pick the red ripe cherries
Savor them in a sort of kind
Memories to devour
Emotional effluviums
Remembrance so fluvial
Nothing ever restores
The olden peaks of love
Felicity of thoughts
Let not fly away the white dove
Memories not to be fought
Dreamcatcher’s residence
All living souls feeded by them
Preserve their gone evidence
Memories of past years folded up
Never to be smoothed out
Tailor made for each person
Since only a toddler once
Transcendental meditation
What are memories all about
