Lovers Quarrel Poem by Aqua Flower

Lovers Quarrel

Rating: 5.0

In her dreams you come running back
begging her to forgive you for what you lack
But your silence keeps her in the dark
is it not true that you carry on like a lark
your princess is filled with unbearable thoughts
because she scolded you and fought
If love survives, than where is she
surely not in the arms of he

these lines baffle (me) a bit: If love survives, than where is she surely not in the arms of he...of course then, not than. right? RIGHT! AND he? ? not you or thee? ? are you speaking of one OR more than one man here? ? are you one of those jezebels? ? ! ! ! i knew 3 of them: my mom, sister, and grandmother (on Dad's side) . bri :) reluctantly, to MyPoemList.

Hi! I love how you dissect the bone piece by piece! You are right those lines are a little confusing. It's only one man with talking about here. Although it does sound like a love triangle. When I'm up a table I will definitely revisit the poem and edit. Thanks for reluctantly putting this on your poem nice it must have been painful LOL

Sometimes getting in the last punch is more painful to the one hitting, either way.. lovers quarrels usually leaves no survivors, really good poem
