Love Is Patient Poem by Randy McClave

Love Is Patient

Love is patient
And love is always kind,
Love does not envy
Not at any moment or at any time.
Love is not boastful
It is not arrogant,
It is not rude or self-seeking
And it's not ever shameful or an embarrassment.
Love is not irritable
And it does not keep a record of wrongs,
Love finds no joy in unrighteousness
But, rejoices in the truth as songs.
Love bears all things forever
And it believes in all good things,
It hopes and endures as well
Love makes the heart sing.
Love never ends
But, as for prophecies, they will come to an end,
As for tongues, they will all cease
As for knowledge it will be like the wind.
All will come to an ending
For we all know in part,
And in part we will prophesies
To try to save the soul and heart.
When the perfect comes
The partial will come to an end and stop,
Love will be made full
As I wish to scream it from a mountaintop.
