Life In Haiku Poem by Richard Lackman

Life In Haiku

Happiness
Happiness is such
An elusive goal despite
Always being near.
Health
Health is a true gift
Yet not appreciated
Until it is gone
Love
Love is all around
And yet so hard to perceive
Such is real blindness
Time
Of all our riches
Time is the most precious one
Frequently not prized
Peace
Peace on Earth is not
An unrealistic goal
Yet unreachable
Hope
Hope will get us through
All of the problems we bear
As our guiding light

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
