Let me light your candle;
your eyes are like a window to your soul.
I just want to reach out for your love;
I just need someone to love me.

Let me light your candle tonight;
you don't understand how I feel about you.
You are my rainbow in the sky;
you chase my blues away.

I am telling you the truth;
you just don't know what I'm dealing with.
I know you want to be loved, too;
I know our feelings are the same.

Let me light your candle tonight;
I'm just trying to be real.
You're like a rose in my garden;
I want to paint a picture of my love.

You bring me joy and laughter;
you put a sweet song in my heart.
I want you to be holy because I love you;
I want to light your candle tonight.
