I remember having a craving,
To pave my own way.
On a path during those past years,
Heard to hear from many say...
I had not lived to reach,
My potential.
And even though they meant that to be,
A judgement to pass with lasting criticism.
I must say today I do agree.
Since I did not intend,
With it then meant to proceed...
To potentially disappoint them.
Or myself.
When I chose to ignore their negativity.
That assisted my motivation with a positivity,
Made more real to feel as an incentive.
Kept to keep and ready to deliver the 'goods'!
