Just One More Day

When my crosses get too heavy,
Press on hard, feel burning pain,
Help me always to remember, look to you,
Get through the day! Just one more day, I have to struggle,
Take on, all the day will bring!
With you in mind, in heart and spirit
closer to you I'll live! Each day, a new page in my life,
Filled with moments treasured dear,
Obstacles I have to battle,
Deeds all sorts, for you to fulfill! Just one more day, today I say!
Until the evening comes and causes to rest,
Tomorrow is another day—and then I'll pray,
Again, just one more day, until the end!
