Italian Perhaps Love Sonnet



Italian Perhaps Love Sonnet

I love to love you, hear "Amore" from you
Cherishing a thought or three
Embracing a picture of thee
Perhaps I don't know if you love, for I "adore" you

Perhaps I should not love, again
What is this longing, I am free?
Yet I want belonging, all I see
I should not cherish, it's a stain

So come- to me, let's meet, we will
take a lovers' forever chance
let our hearts claim owned, be still

If we greet our vivid life streams
will meet, - resting in our arms
when angel meets man of her dreams
