When down laid, a gazillion souls,
when in vain, shouted a million mothers.
When blazed in flames, thousands of hopes and aspirations,
then rose our anger.
When a hundred more sacrifices, bloomed in our tree,
then spoke my India - no more captivity, now we shall be free.... we shall be free....
When blazed in flames, thousands of hopes and aspirations, then rose our anger.
