The spring in the name of blue skies
The adulation of winds weaves her cloak
Chirping of birds, flapping of wings
Weightless light of grace rises before my eyes and freezes the clock.
South western winds stirs from the shores of Indian Ocean
Rhyming of tides with the ripples on the bay
Splashes the straits of my country side in the month of May.
Somewhere, someone watches the births and fireflies
Hoping that turning pages will speak in the fields of blossoming flowers in rain
And it will be so beautiful, that the world will gleam for creatures to adore each drops
Sailing on their way.
As the night cherishes the moon with all her freckles
The way you speak to stars from afar
Wishing them to be alive forever in the skies,
Guiding each one to accept their fate by hearts
To continue walking for reaching the heaven's gate,
To continue longing for those celestial journey to be blessed.
A soul delights in old pictures for that story whence once lived,
Perhaps it is the soul that remains wrapped around our hearts in silence
Perhaps it is us, trying to twinkle tiny blues at our best constellations not willing to fade.
Almost sensing the proximity of space
Our Venus glows among all the stars,
And you and I look at each other
As if feeling our heartbeats for the very first time.
Every day now, a morning bird sings
Colors and swirls your sky for eyes to see and dream
Sometimes orange, purple, blue and gray
It's endless: never bidding a farewell to arms, or never even complaining that her heart aches within a tune in the last day of May.
If you knew what her stars said,
You'll know all spring long her galaxy wore a memory,
Murmuring in your ears to stare down and think,
"There's someone in the world who loved me above all in her years as wishes were granted every day."
A soul returns to dust, and eternal life begins
The silver light merges with our hues,
And only our words remain.
Swinging of leaves celebrates the gift of nature by calling it as home,
She listens to waves, as the evening sun dwells alone.
The cheerful sunset leads towards the family of roses
Belonging to each other, they call, "life".
No wonder undying love travelled to share their light.
Clouds before the sun, saves some eyes by painting the shades of dawn
The warmth of palms are felt by those verdant hues breathing under the sky of dreams
We sat, and saw them awakening from their sleep.
The soft brown earth of today's
Fill the answer of yesterday's unrecognised name
The peace of tomorrow smiles, is the price of praying hearts of past in every vale
Already in constellations hoping with grace
To see her being loved in the month of May.
It is glorious, it is golden
The after rain phases of the world,
The sprinkles of tiny sparkles breathes in the yard, some in valleys, some with those stars.
Did we find our hearts in beats of joyful days?
Did you call my name, when the sun was basking in the bay?
Remembrance is always welcomed in the colors of rainbows
Butterflies live for the light of sun to call her every day.
