In Reality Though.. (God I Hate It There)

I wish it were all true
That I am stone cold hearted about it all
About everything that you never even knew.
I wish this darkness in my soul
And weight in my heart
Kept me from looking to you for a moment of happiness.
But you've been so good for me,
you made time to make me better than I am,
How can I ever turn away from you,
When you love me so well as you do.
I'm just a mess dragging the world down.
Sometimes I am a tornado
And self-destruction is my sole path.
I did give too much power to you
Without even knowing
until it was too late to close that gate.
You understand, don't you?
So I have to take it back,
You probably wont even notice

For your eyes are facing towards a different sun.
