In History Ghandi Stands Out As A Great Example To Many

Ghandi's Seven Deadly Sins

There were more than just Ten Commandments delivered by Moses,
Ever since of rules there have been many proposers.
Ghandi was Hindu so couldn't enjoy Zen,
But he published seven sins penned by his fair friend.

His grandson Arun called them the seven social blunders.
He added an eighth, just why he did that one is caused to wonder.
Time passes over such pronounciations,
A list is a list whatever your nation.

Each listed precept is socially most admirable,
But as to the death tag it's quite unimaginable.
Daily we see survivors at large in the world
Flaunting these guidelines, their prosperity unfurled.

Are these just a list of things aspirational?
Desires one may have listed to be educational.
The price of each one could disincentivise,
But clearly not a preventative in some people's eyes.

Frederick Lewis Donaldson author and speaker of wisdom
Mohandas Karamchand Ghandi, publisher, offered India her freedom
Each Desired apprehension by the heart not just the intellect,
Spawning a change in behaviour with long lasting effect.
