I Wonder Why Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

I Wonder Why

Rating: 5.0

I wonder why you commit sin
If you believe you're being seen
Why we lie 'bout human origin
Without a flinch but a big grin

I wonder why you lie about me
If you believe didnt cross the sea
Why you dont want me to be free
Without sanctions what i will be

I wonder why you hate Africans
If you consider their applications
Why you treat them like immigrants
Why you call them American Africans

I wonder why i wonder why
I wonder why i wonder why

I wonder why America is so smug and arrogant. Perhaps she's suffering from an inferiority complex. A very well written poem, Deluke.

You are so right, we are all human beings and shouldn't be judged by any color creed or religion. We are human beings and allow to be free in the world. We are all the same in mind, body and human function, so why are we fighting for something we can all have and that is love, life and freedom.

Quite pertinent questions asked. Human history is filled with so many atrocities, that make one think humans as species worse than animals. The most ferocious animal will be put to shame if it comes to know how humans kill, maim and deceive each other. This poem gets 5***** from me.
