I Wish You Could'Ve Stayed

When the river starts to get dry,
and tears start rolling from the eyes,
when the leaves, leave the trees, in the autumn sky,
and never return home even in the night,
when i fail after a hard days try,
and close myself behind those doors to cry,

I wish you could've stayed,
for a morning walk, for an evening talk
I wish you could've stayed,
with a smile on your face, to fill every space
I wish you could've stayed,
I wish you could've stayed,

When on a fresh sunny day, I look outside,
just to find a strange mist rising high,
When it feels so lone and alone,
at most crowded street on my way back home,
When thought of happy days, bring on the pain,
and to break this haze, i need a lot of rain

I wish you could've stayed,
for a morning walk, for an evening talk
I wish you could've stayed,
with a smile on your face, to fill every space
I wish you could've stayed,
I wish you could've stayed......
