I Miss You Grandad! Poem by Emma Jane Rae

I'm trying to understand whats happened Grandad,
i'm feeling lonely, and i'm feeling sad,
i'm trying to hide all the pain that i'm feeling,
it's like a stack of books from floor to ceiling,
it's like a shattered mirror i can't see through,
and i don't know what to say or do!
i've cried so many tears,
there's no more left to be cried,
there's so much time i'm trying to abide,
you're my Grandad so special and dear,
what has happened was my biggest fear,
it's like a hole drove deep in my heart,
it feels so untrue, that we have been split apart,
and it doesn't matter where i go,
or what i do,
coz i know i wont be alone,
you will be with me too!
