I Miss My Cat

Your carefree ways
Your lazy days
Your balls of fur
Your outloud purrs

You sitting on my lap
You taking long cat naps
You being so lovable
You getting on the table

Meowing when you though
you were alone
Hissin' when you were afraid
of the vacuum
Waiting and knowing
when I was coming home
Lickin' when you were
in the mood for lovin'

I'll remember everything about you
I will miss my Honeye forever.

(1997)
