I Have Crowned Him

Rating: 5.0

I Have Crowned Him

I have Crowned Him Lord of all
For He has all of me
I was a lost and empty soul
Until I understood Calvary
Where for sins that I had done
Yes for each and everyone
God poured out His vengeful wrath
On the person of His Son

When God's love so strong in power
Took our sin and dealt it death
Blood poured forth from the wounds of Jesus
Until He breathed His final breath
All heaven broke loose at that moment
The vail of the temple rent, the skies grew dark
The silence deafening to those present
The scene surreal and very stark

The perfect Sacrificial offering
The Innocent for guilty men
God was justified in the matter
Never another offering again
Once for all...once for all!
It is finished the cry from Calvary's hill
Christ satisfying completely His Father
For He came to do the Father's will

If we would but repent and believe
With a brokenheartedcontrite manner
Then we'll break forth with a Hallelujah
With a desire to raise the gospel banner
O I have Crowned Him...yes I have crowned Him
Jesus Christ is Lord of all
Every heart that seeks that Saviour
Will find a Friend that can never fail!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
