I am very still
But not the world around me
This land quivers,
Teeming with unseen life
I am very still
The clouds tumble past
Each cloud white
Against the bright azure sky
I am very still
The lark on the grass sings
The birds fly
Taking to the air with joy
I am very still
Upon this lush prairie land
With the wind
Whispering through the grass
I love the Child like qualities within your poems. So beautiful! Love Duncan

Ivy, though we are still, the world goes on undisturbed... a serene and sensitive write. I liked it. Brian
