I Abide By You

I Abide by You

Oh, mother Earth,
I abide by you.
You feed me and play with me,
In the most beautiful of all settings.

Oh, mother Earth,
You let me hear the sounds of waves,
The crisp sound of the wind,
And the blowing sound of leaves in motion.

And I abide by you. You are sacred.

Oh, mother Earth,
I want to leave you the way you are,
Still so pure and unpolluted.
I hope we as mankind keep it that way.

Oh, mother Earth stay with me forever,
For you are sacred.
