While images of scorching heat, are stoked...I encountered to the first snowfall of the season, this morning...abrupt rude awakening, that I am not, yet, ready to embrace. Loved your ceiling fan, spinning, but to no great relief. You again, have managed to draw me in, to the pictures, you so eloquently paint... PEACE
Your Spring is our Autumn, and we have a long cold Winter to look forward to - can you send us some of your heat Danny! !
I feel the heat in your words very well explained helping the reader to actually see it thru your words fires are burning now Hell in the bush...makes carbon tax like chicken feed...regards
Danny your write perfectly expressed the helplessness felt. I think the fan was the moment where I imagined it spinning but making very little difference. This shows totally by the winds and breezes how we are at the mercy of the eliments. This really hit home for me. We have had some dry spells here too but I can hardly imagine how it would be in your neck of the woods. Hope it improves. I really do. Karen
A great descriptive write that is making me feel the heat. On the other side of Oz we are only 23 degrees. Thank You Danny
Wow frm frangipani to stomata i enjoyd dis marvelous imagery sketch and the scientific terminology too in poem! Impresive
The heat and sweat of aggressive summer is powerfully drawn! When drought tightens its fiery hold, the trees shed leaves, the wind lifts large clouds of dust, the vegetation including grass and bush dry out and the parched earth gasps! A graphic description of the erratic weather with sultry images! !
That was quiet hot... loved it
