Heritage

Life is passing you by when you don't see what is right
Living a lie as you live in the night
What is it you are trying to find living in this lie

Your heritage
It locks you in a museum of intimidation and hate
What you celebrate is a waste of a day.

Life has so much to experience you don't want to miss this.
There is no threat in peace when together we resist
A legacy of giving will last.

My heritage
Is the exclusion of hate and inclusion of love
From the mind and heart is where it comes from

Life is learning and living forever; it is about giving.
Where is your morality? Giving it away doesn't make you free.
No control over your mind; your just a political zombie

Our heritage
Is understanding one another living as sister and brothers
Drink from the cup of life while knowing the difference between wrong and right.

Life is much more than a competition to get much more.
Your experience is not mine; my experience is not yours.
It is about you, the soul, the time that you hold as you grow old.
