Profound haiku with juxtaposition. Bloom gives honey and lifeline of all insects depends on it. Great imagery at the end.

Honey is pictured here as the life blood of a flower and butterflies - villains draining the life blood. Scientists see honey as the elixir to attract butterflies to carry the pollen and thus effect procreation. Poets are free to perceive things differently......! Great Haiku

Thank you dear poetess. When I was writing this Haiku all in my mind was the picture of youths who fall in love and marry and after the charm of the female is lost the male leave her and seeks fresh charms. Is it not cruel selfishness?
