Grief's Poetic Resilience

Rating: 5.0

In shadows deep, grief finds its dwelling place,
A heavy cloak, its touch leaves no trace.
With shattered heart, we tread the path of woe,
In sorrow's grip, emotions ebb and flow.

The ache within, a tempest fierce and wild,
Reminding us of love once brightly styled.
Like barren trees, our souls stand stark and bare,
Haunted by memories we long to share.

Loss's cruel sting, a wound that won't relent,
A silent ache no words can circumvent.
Yet in this darkness, seeds of strength reside,
A resilience, a flicker deep inside.

Through tears and sighs, we seek the dawn anew,
Embracing love, though pain may still ensue.
For in the depths of grief, we learn to heal,
To find solace in the love we still feel.

Excellent poem I can relate to. We have to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, and start all over again.
