Grace...Our Shock Absorber
God knows how life can turn
It has its ups and downs
Sometimes with smiles and jovialness
At other times its frowns
From the time of our first birthing
To the time of our very last breath
God gives us grace as a shock absorber
In our most needed time of death
We are weakened vessels
Dependent on the Lord
We can only bear so much
That's why we need His Word
For there the record still it stands
Christ is the Resurrection
And all those who have trusted Him
Are headed in Heaven's direction
I've been shocked a few times
And death has taken its toll
But God's supply of grace absorbed
The pain within my soul
And praise became a permanent
For we shall rise again
And meet our loved ones in the sky
Where our lives shall never end!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
