GOPI`S WORDS
HAR PRASAD SHARMA
In chariot, Krishna takes his seat,
his eyes with those Gopi`s met,
the Gopis pray while tears they shed,
o moon-faced Lord, don`t go ahead,
give ear to us, our prayer hear,
please don`t go dear, please don`t go dear,
with eyes full of tears and hearts full of pain,
they look towards Krishna again and again
