Global unrest, so heavy and deep
A sorrowful sorrow, for our world to weep
Nations divided, hearts full of hate
No peace to be found, only fear and debate.
From east to west, and north to south,
The cries of the oppressed, our ears doth rouse
Injustice and violence, rampant and wild
Leaving countless innocents, broken and defiled.
Oh, how we long for a time of peace,
For all wars and conflicts, to finally cease
But every day, the news brings more despair
As chaos and turmoil, seem to be everywhere.
Leaders fail us, in their quest for power,
And people suffer, with each passing hour
Families torn apart, by ideologies and greed
Leaving behind scars, that will forever bleed.
The earth, once so bountiful and serene
Now ravaged by pollution, and corporate machines
Mother nature weeps, for her children's plight
As we destroy her, without a second thought in sight.
Global unrest, how heavy your toll
On the lives of the innocent, on our very soul
We mourn for what once was, and what could have been
As we witness the demise, of humanity within.
But amidst the chaos and the strife
There is still hope, a faint glimmer of light
For the human spirit, is resilient and strong
And in the darkest of times, it will rise and carry on.
So let us unite, in the face of adversity
And stand together, in peace and solidarity
For only through love, can we heal and progress
And lay to rest, this global unrest.
