Forever I Lay

Forever I lay here
Crippled by fear
Wishing you were near
To my eyes comes a tear

Forever I lay still
Through my body, the pain begins to fill
The darkness trying to slowly kill
Soon death will creep in, I know it will

Forever I lay dead
There’s a bright light overhead
I start to ascend
I thought I’d stay here but I’m going to heaven instead
