Forbidden Fruit Poem by Taralee Wozneak

Forbidden Fruit

I don't know whether to laugh or cry
Should I embrace you or say goodbye?
A forbidden fruit, nor sweet, nor sour
You make me smile in my darkest hour
A bite I once took, your juices so sweet
My senses overcome, the world obsolete
I dropp to my knees unable to ingore
I desire you more than ever before
An addictive drug, enveloping my senses
Obilerated are the walls of my defenses
A fruit forbidden, the centre of desire
Like a heart of ice within a raging fire
I cannot feel you, yet I yearn your caress
My Forbidden fruit, my feelings I suppress
My heart races wild, my breath taken away
True feelings I possess, I will never say
You will always have a piece of my heart
Yet forever forbbiden, we will be apart
