Feeling Better Poem by Adrianna La Flash

Feeling Better

Just take the pills
You'll feel better
Yes I bet you, you will
Blue and Green hues, little orbs of artificial happiness

Spill your guts in therapy,
You'll feel better
Yes I bet you you will
Forget time and space
Leave your mind
You hallucinations without a trace
You'll feel better
Yes I bet you you will

Forget your dreams of dancing razors and candy cane colored needles
You'll feel better
Yes I bet you will

The lights of god will guide you home young one
You'll feel better
Yes I bet you you will

But what if
I dont want your fake happiness
And I dont want to tell my every secret to someone who see ten people like me a day
And I don't see the lights

And if I refuse?
What then
Shall I go willingly?
Just get locked away?

Sad to read this....... depression is destroying many. taking pills or having access to needles will never give one happiness. Turn to God and help the poor. the joy you receive is incomparable.......... thank you for this poem. tony very factually related poem. tony
