Fatal Attraction Poem by Arun Maji

Fatal Attraction

Rating: 5.0

It's you smile my heart treasures most.
It's your name my mind ruminates most.
It's your presence my soul craves most.
O beautiful, o my love
How could I spend night without your dream?

I am so immersed in sea of your beauty,
I am so blown away by storm of your smile,
I can't escape.
Though I try some time, yet I cannot.

More I think about you, emptier I feel.
More I drink your wine, thirstier I feel.
Painful. It's agonisingly painful.
Yet it's this stabbing pain I crave for.
It's this excruciating torture I die for.

Tell me o love, how could I live my life
Without seeing your beautiful face?

Yet alas! You treat me as a stranger
In your mystic land.
You drive me away, far away.

But o beautiful, o my love,
Don't you know
More you drive me away
Closer I get to?
