Emotional Outbursts

Never be there an idea
Of separate bedrooms
About a decade back.
The presumption-
That it has nothing to do
With the lack or loss of love
Affection among spouses
In married life.

Like an ancient trend
Traditionally joint family
Married life of rural style
As such, getting introduced
Recently being urbanized.

Being married does not mean
To live in each other's pocket
So feel many new-age-couples
Opting for separate bedrooms
Not staying together-
In the conventional sense.

A conventional mind-set
Does raise an eyebrow-
At the current new trend.

But, the couples insisting-
Distance doesn't spell doom
For their marriage
Nor because of cheating-
By sleeping in different rooms
It isn't just a fight-
But, also a concern for spouse
Keeping a busy day ahead
Besides, having snorting,
Loud muttering or having
A different working schedule
Disrupting the sleep as such.
Simple physical proximity
Gets replaced as such-
By the physical distance.

Intentionally or unintentionally
Millions and millions of couples
Worldwide, live getting separate
Trying, to make their marriages
Stronger and happier-
Reasoning and logic
May differ from case to case.

Modus operandi-
May not necessarily go well
As per conventional mind-set
Pointing out when, the finger
On mine and thine bedrooms
All under one roof, one kitchen
And rest everything common.

But-
What about such arrangements
As without a fair amount-
Of understanding and liability
How to handle and deal with
All kind of crises leading-
To manage the delicacies of kids
Nourishment, learning or study
And, if any, emotional outbursts.
