Emeralds

Eternity for a day would have its emerald;
It's jewels of jade and its fine apparel.
A day without you seems like eternity
Two days without you and I'm in peril

Come with me and I'll buy you diamonds
And gold and silver, and pearls too
I'll load my truck up full with emeralds
We'll live eternally me and you.

You say you don't know me that well?
Well what you see is what you get
But don't forget to look down under:
The deeper down, the better yet
