Eight Lines Of The Nearly Forgotten Poem by Peter Strugnell

Eight Lines Of The Nearly Forgotten

Eight lines of the nearly forgotten,
will we some day return again,
to the charm of a gentle voice?
Still the small hope of dreams remain.

When a lost soul leans towards love,
creeping loneliness will find it's exile,
a once at peace, but empty soul
longs again to run that tortured mile.
