Echo Poem by Varna Soyokaze

The rainbows faded

and stars lit the moonless sky

The long journey comes to an end,

when I Die



The music echoes as

I drift away into the light

With a casket full of memories

and melody of the night



I came, I stayed, I loved, I smiled,

As the sun set over our eyes.

We bid adieu in disguise as

I left the clouds for the skies



The times we fought and

the times we cried

Are sealed forever

hidden away by our side



We started together as one

from being a monochrome;

But today I end it alone.

Its time I fly back home



We saw all beauty and terror;

We know one day we die.

We foresaw the coming severance;

But still we weep and cry



As I walk into the light,

I wonder

Do we meet again on the other side?
