Dreamland (Fr. Cooper) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Dreamland (Fr. Cooper)

Rating: 4.9

You have month long growth of hair
On yr body
So curly I forget you are part poodle
Yr white fur is still soft
Like the fuzz of an Ontario peach
I want to bite into you
But I love you too much
That the thought makes me kind of sad
Let me takeyou to bed
And you can crawl under the covers
As I read a book
So quiet you are unless I walk away
For my morning coffee
So, I'll skip it and finish the book
And return to dreamland
Away from this Karma Earth

What a wonderful depiction of a great bond between a human being and pet.The happiness we derive from this relationship is beyond material wealth. Beautifully expressed and crafted.
