Don't Come To My Grave And Weep Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

Don't Come To My Grave And Weep

Rating: 5.0

Don't come to my grave and weep
For I am not there, I am asleep
My soul has soared to a place unknown
A place of peace, a place I now call home

I've shed my earthly body and pain
No longer bound by this mortal chain
My spirit dances in the wind and sky
Soaring free, no longer tethered to die

Do not mourn my passing, my dear, I have answered my call
For in my heart, our love will never end
Remember me with laughter, not tears
For I am still with you, though not in years

Think of me when the sun shines bright
And the stars twinkle in the dark of night
For I am there, in every ray of light
In every moment, I am by your side

So don't come to my grave and weep
For I am not there, I am at peace and deep
In a place where love and joy never cease
And our souls will forever find release.
