Don't Be Sad Poem by Randy McClave

Don't Be Sad

Don't be so sad,
Let me see a happy face
I wish your sadness I could erase,
Then you would be glad.
You are here for another day,
A star is here for you tonight
To bring you soul delight,
For you I do constantly pray.

Don't be with sadness,
Erase that fear
Please, let me wipe away any tear,
Be filled with gladness.
You are here for a wonderful plan,
You are truly needed
For you many have pleaded,
Remember, your day has just began.

Don't be with pain,
Don't wear it like a coat
This I do quote,
Use not your feelings, but your brain.
Make your own self contented,
That's rule number one
Be, royalty and not a pawn,
Then you won't feel sad or resented..

Don't think to moan,
Because, no one is there
Don't think that no one does not care,
Because, you stand alone.
Look towards the sky,
Then look to your right and left
Let there be no sadness or bereft,
Because, there is always I.
