Divine Musician! Play for me all the time,
Let me listen to your glorious music all the time;
Let the Kaaba be at a crow's distance from me,
Grant my one small wish to be there...
...to do your zikr all the time;
Let me say:
I am here, O Allah I am here
You have no partner I am here
All praise, thanks, and sovereignty are for you.
Protect me against the harsh and shameless words...
...that Satanic-nafs whispers in my heart;
Protect me against the wolves and hounds of fear,
That howl all night near my hermitage,
Scaring me to stand for prayer;
Let me say: I am here, O Allah I am here,
You have no partner, I am here,
All praise, thanks, and sovereignty are for you.
Protect me against the treacherous Waves of terror,
For I am rowing my boat in the sea day and night;
You are watching over me, just as a master watches,
Over a servant;
You are smiling at menjust as a lover smiles at his beloved,
From behind the curtains;
I am in your presence, walking to you;
I am under your close vigilance;
Let me say: I am here, O Allah I am here
You have no partner, I am here,
All praise, thanks, and sovereignty are for you.
At day, I look deep into the azure sky,
Under the light of blazing sun;
At night I receive the lovely smile of.
The bright golden moon, enjoying,
The twinkling of stars;
Because I know it is the light of my creator;
Let me say: I am here, O Allah I am here,
You have no partner, I am here,
All praise, thanks, and sovereignty are for you.
Let me declare without fear that the splendid creation,
Is asking me from the day I was born:
Am I not your Lord?
And responding to my Lord's question, I repeatedly say:
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes my Lord!
Let me say: I am here, O Allah I am here,
You have no partner, I am here,
All praise, thanks, and sovereignty are for you.
