'Let me sleep That girl's sleep Who has forgotten her eyes Into mine'.... the best line in this good poem...the expressions here carry profound image...good work, Naseer...10
Sleep - what a wonderful topic for a poem. Mr. Shakespeare said is so beautifully: 'Sleep that knits up the raveled sleeve of care'. And you too have created a masterpiece from the same subject. Your words flow like a lullaby. I particularly loved: 'There is an ocean in my heart Let me sink all my dreams in it Let me soak my thirsty lips'. Superb poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
A rythmic write in the form of a longing having a tinge of prayer and feelings, i like the abstraction here, , 'progressive abstraction', , you write well sir, , a 10 from me
This is a beautiful, beautiful poem. It is as precious as the lack of water you write about. It has a flow like water it all of its sublimity. Thank you Naseer. Karin Anderson
You never hesitate to give yourself away in words. This is the mark of the true poet. May the music never end, Naseer. Beautiful effort. As always, Sandra

Awake, disturbed by thoughts of wants, restless still wanting, forgive me let me sleep, happy I am now at rest. Yours words again are beautiful, I shall never stop returning to read your poems, they are good for my soul. Bob
This might be me but could this have connotations to suicide? If this sleep is death and the people in the sky could be gohsts of otheres the poet knew. Just my opinion
